Apartment & condo movers in Edmonton

Elevators, loading zones, narrow hallways and building rules. We move apartments and condos every week, and we plan around your building so moving day runs on time.

What’s included

  • A truck and two careful movers, with moving blankets, shrink wrap and dollies
  • Protection for hallways, door frames and elevator walls
  • Beds, tables and shelves taken apart and put back together
  • No extra charge for stairs, elevators or a walk-up

Before moving day

Most Edmonton apartment and condo buildings ask residents to book the elevator and a move-in or move-out time. Some charge a deposit or move fee. Ask your property manager or condo board about their rules a week or two ahead, then tell us your booked time and we’ll schedule around it.

Find out where the truck can park. If there’s a loading zone or back door, let us know. If the truck has to park on the street, we’ll check the signs on the day.

How long an apartment move takes

A well-packed studio or 1-bedroom usually takes about 3 to 4.5 hours, and a 2-bedroom about 4.5 to 6 hours. Long walks from the truck, slow elevators and unpacked rooms add time. See our pricing for typical totals.

Questions

Apartment & condo moves: common questions

Do you charge extra for stairs or elevators?

No. A fourth-floor walk-up is priced the same way as a ground-floor unit.

Can you move a studio or 1-bedroom on short notice?

Often, yes. Call or text us and we’ll give you the fastest date we have.

Will you book the elevator for me?

Your building usually needs the resident to book it. We’ll tell you what to ask for and plan our arrival around your time slot.
