Hourly or flat rate: your choice
Hourly is usually the cheapest choice for well-prepared, smaller moves, because you only pay for the time the move takes.
Flat rate gives you one fixed price up front. If the move takes longer than planned, your price doesn’t change. Many people prefer it for larger homes.
What changes the price
- How much you own, and whether it’s packed
- Distance between homes, and walking distance to the truck
- Heavy items like pianos or safes
- Month-end and summer dates, which book up fastest
