A local Edmonton moving company
We started Magpie Movers to give Edmonton a moving company that answers quickly, shows up on time and charges what it quotes.
Why “Magpie”?
The magpie is Edmonton’s official city bird, and it’s famous for carrying things from place to place. That’s our job too. Our motto is simple: we carry it all.
What we stand for
- Fast answers: we reply to quote requests quickly, with a clear price in writing.
- Care: floors protected, furniture wrapped, and a final walkthrough before we leave.
- Honest pricing: no stair, elevator or weekend fees, and flat-rate quotes when you want certainty.
- Respect: for your home, your building and your neighbours.
Our crew
Our moves are led by an experienced mover who has been moving Edmonton homes since 2022. He knows the city’s apartment buildings, roads and winters. Every crew member is trained in safe lifting, furniture protection and customer care.
Safety
We’re insured and WCB covered, hold regular crew safety meetings, and follow Alberta’s occupational health and safety rules on every job.
Work with us
Property managers and realtors: we offer tenant and client discounts and dependable move-in and move-out service. Ask about a partnership.
